`
`PRESIDENT AND CHIEF
`EXECUTIVE OFFICER
`
`SCIENCE
`
`Dr. Daryl S. Paulson has extensive experience in the fields of management science,
`research and development, clinical trials, biostatistics, and clinical microbiology. He is
`board certified as a Forensic Examiner (American Board of Forensic Examiners) and
`appears as an expert witness for various clients (including the FDA), as well as product
`development consulting. He has developed new procedures for the evaluation of
`antiseptic products, which have shortened the FDA approval process for clinical trials in
`a number of areas. He is the author of the standard text of the industry, Topical
`Antimicrobial Testing and Evaluation, as well as the editor of the Handbook of Topical
`Antimicrobials. He is also the author of the text Applied Statistical Designsfor the
`Researcher (Marcel Dekker, 2002). He has also designed statistical procedures which
`are used in Bi0Science's clinical trials for antiseptics, drug and cosmetic products, as
`well as the statistical models used in evaluating them. He has expertise in medical
`microbiology, especially mycoimmunology, marketing, quantitative experimental
`designs, biostatistics, and qualitative research. Dr. Paulson is the author of numerous
`papers on clinical evaluations, software validations, solid dosage validations, and
`quantitative management science in publications such as American Journal ofInfection
`Control, AORN, Dairy, Food, and Environmental Sanitation, World Business Academy
`Perspectives, Soaps, Cosmetics and Chemical Specialties and Pharmaceutical
`Manufacturing. He is a member of the ASTM Subcommittee, which concerns itself with
`antiseptic testing, a member of the American Society for Microbiology, the Association
`for Practitioners in Infection Control, the Parenteral Drug Association, the American
`Society for Quality Control, American Psychological Association and American College
`of Forensic Examiners.
`
`PSYCHOLOGY
`
`Dr. Paulson has worked extensively with Vietnam combat veterans in treating PTSD as
`well as with family survivors of automobile crashes, terminally ill patients, and survivors
`of traumatic events. He is board certified in Forensic Science as well as Traumatic
`
`Stress. He teaches a transpersonal psychology course through Adult Education.
`
`Dr. Paulson has attained a doctoral degree in Transpersonal Psychology at the Institute
`of Transpersonal Studies. He is an expert in Ken Wilber’s Integral Philosophy and was
`in the core business group of Wilber’s Integral Institute in Boulder, Colorado. He is an
`editor of the Journal of Transpersonal Psychology. Dr. Paulson has also studied the
`works of Charles Tart, Stanislov Grof, Jorge Ferrer, Alan Combs, Roger Walsh, Frances
`Vaughan, Roberto Assagioli, and Michael Washburn.
