`PATENT OWNER’S REQUEST FOR ORAL HEARING
`
`

`
`Case IPR2015-00795
`Attorney Docket: 36351-0011IP5
`
`
`Pursuant to 37 C.F.R. § 42.70(a), Patent Owners, Paice LLC and Abell
`
`
`
`Foundation, Inc., submit this Request for Oral Argument on all of the instituted
`
`grounds of unpatentability of claims 1, 3-5, 14, 16, 19, 20, and 22 of U.S. Patent
`
`No. 7,104,347 under 35 U.S.C. § 103. The Board has already scheduled the Oral
`
`Hearing for this IPR as well as thirteen additional IPRs, all of which are identified
`
`below.
`
`Regarding the procedure, the parties believe that partitioning the fourteen
`
`IPRs into three groups and finishing one group before beginning the next would be
`
`helpful to the Board and the parties. To that end, the parties agree on the following
`
`groups:
`
`Group 1: IPR2015-00722, -00784, -00787, -00790, -00791, -00794, -00795
`
`Group 2: IPR2015-00606, -00799
`
`Group 3: IPR2015-00758, -00785, -00792, 00801, -00800
`
`Concerning the total oral hearing time for the above IPRs, Patent Owner and
`
`Petitioner jointly propose a total of 2 hours and 45 minutes per side with 75
`
`minutes allocated per side for Group 1, 45 minutes allocated per side for Group 2,
`
`and 45 minutes allocated for Group 3.
`
`The Board has already scheduled Oral Hearing for June 27-29, 2016. See
`
`Scheduling Order, Paper 14. While Patent Owner’s believe that the oral argument
`
`2
`
`

`
`can be completed within one day on June 27, 2016, Patent Owners recently
`
`Case IPR2015-00795
`Attorney Docket: 36351-0011IP5
`
`
`received a communication from the Board indicating that June 27, 2016 may not
`
`be available. Patent Owners’ counsel that is to present the oral argument is unable
`
`to attend on June 28-29, 2016 due to a conflict. Patent Owner’s respectfully
`
`request that the Board set oral arguments for June 27, 2016 or, in the alternative,
`
`request a teleconference with the Board to determine an alternative date.
`
`
`
`
`
`
`
`
`
`Respectfully submitted,
