`In this inter partes review proceeding, Patent Owner Hewlett-Packard
`Company (“HP”) originally designated Joseph F. Haag as lead counsel and
`Evelyn C. Mak as backup counsel. Paper 6. On September 11, 2015, Mr.
`Haag contacted the Board via e-mail, requesting authorization to withdraw
`himself and Ms. Mak from representation of HP in this proceeding. We
`granted the requested authorization, and on September 15, 2015, Mr. Haag
`

`and Ms. Mak filed a Request for Authorization to Withdraw. Paper 15,
`“Request.”
`Counsel may withdraw from an inter partes review proceeding only
`with authorization from the Board. 37 C.F.R. § 42.10(e). In the Request,
`Mr. Haag and Ms. Mak state that they wish to voluntarily withdraw from
`this proceeding. Request 2. Along with the Request, HP filed Updated
`Mandatory Notices identifying Monica Grewal as lead counsel and Donald
`R. Steinberg as back-up counsel. Paper 16. Both Ms. Grewal and Mr.
`Steinberg are registered practitioners, and both are associated with the
`Customer Number listed in the Power of Attorney previously filed by HP.
`Paper 5.
`HP does not seek any extension of time in connection with its
`Request, and Petitioner, ServiceNow, Inc., has not objected to withdrawal of
`current counsel or substitution of new counsel. On these facts, we grant
`authorization for Mr. Haag and Ms. Mak to withdraw.
`
`For the foregoing reasons, it is
`ORDERED that Joseph F. Haag and Evelyn C. Mak are no longer
`recognized as counsel for Patent Owner in this proceeding.
