`Patent Owner’s Motion to Seal
`37 C.F.R. §§ 42.14 and 42.54

`Patent Owner, Paice LLC & The Abell Foundation, Inc. (collectively,
`

`“Paice”), filed a motion to seal Exhibit 2102 pursuant to 37 C.F.R. § 42.14.
`
`Paper 13. Exhibit 2102 is Appendix A that was submitted confidentially to
`
`Paice from Ford pursuant to an arbitration agreement between Paice and
`
`
`
`IPR2015-00606
`Patent 7,237,634 B2
`
`Ford. Paice certifies that Appendix A contains confidential information that
`
`has not been published or otherwise made publicly available. We have not
`
`relied on Exhibit 2102 in rendering our Final Written Decision. As such,
`
`protecting confidential Appendix A from public disclosure only minimally
`
`impacts the public’s interest in maintaining a complete file history.
`
`Further, Paice requests that an unredacted version of its Preliminary
`
`Response (Paper 11) be sealed because it discusses confidential information,
`
`and, therefore, should be sealed for the same reasons Appendix A should be
`
`sealed. Importantly, Paice filed a public version of its Preliminary Response
`
`(Paper 12) that redacts the confidential information.
`

`Based on Paice’s representations, the reasonably limited scope of the
`
`protection sought, and the fact that the motion to seal is unopposed, we
`
`determine that good cause exists to grant the motion to seal. 37 C.F.R.
`
`§ 42.54.
`
`Accordingly, it is
`
`
`
`ORDERED that Paice’s motion to seal is granted;
`
`FURTHER ORDERED that Paper 11 and Exhibit 2102 shall remain
`
`sealed.
