`
`After nearly six years as President of Emerging Devices for AT&T Mobility, Glenn Lurie has
`been promoted to CEO of the division. The move is part of a major reorganization effort by
`AT&T to merge Mobility and Business Solutions ﴾Enterprise﴿ into one group. Lurie will
`continue to report to Ralph de la Vega, who has been tasked with overseeing the new
`division; de la Vega will in turn report to AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson. The news was first
`reported by Fierce Wireless, and Engadget has confirmed the report with official
`spokespeople. AT&T says that the new group will essentially fold the marketing and
`distribution arm of AT&T's Business Solutions department into Mobility, which it believes is
`the next "natural step" toward integrating the company's wireline and wireless operations.
`
`Here's the official statement from an AT&T spokesperson:
`
`We've been integrating various functions of our wireline and wireless operations for
`several years now, including our network, technology and customer care operations.
`Now, we're taking the next natural step by integrating our marketing and
`distribution for Business Solutions into our Mobility group. Ralph de la Vega's
`responsibilities have been expanded and now he is CEO of our new Mobile &
`Business Solutions organization.
`
`Integrating Business Solutions into Mobility is a great fit, because mobility is how
`businesses do business. In fact, business‐related customers represent more than 50%
`of our mobile revenues and it's growing. This new group will focus on delivering
`integrated solutions for business customers that are first and foremost mobile, and
`also secure, reliable, ultra‐fast and effortless.
`
`With Ralph's role expanding, Glenn Lurie has been named president and CEO of
`AT&T Mobility, and continues to report into Ralph. Previously, Glenn was president
`of Mobility's Emerging Enterprises and Partnerships group.

`Well today has been the worst and most stressful day ever with At&t people. Watch yourself
`people got ourselves a dishonest retailer. I purchased a galaxy note 3 2/5/14 from an At&t
`store near by me I played with it for a week than went back and got the Lg G flex and gave the
`note to my kids mother who is on my plan. She had issues with t he phone they replaced it
`under warranty 2 times. She began having issues with the phone AGAIN! So I called At&t the
`guy was not listening 1 bit and was aggravating the life out of
` me. First he said the phone is
`not under warranty the warranty expired so than being majorly a ngry cause I knew that wasn't
`true. So than I asked what the warranty period was on the galax y note 3 he just keeps saying
`yours is out of warranty. The convo goes no where I
` end up hanging up on him cause he
`keeps saying the same thing. Than i come on here post a comment
` about it. Figure while im
`waiting for a reply ill go on at& t.com and chat with a rep and i got the guy i was just talking
`to on the phone go figure. This guy was not trying to reserve m y issue instead he was getting
`a kick out of my frustration with repeating your phone is out o f warranty. So finally someone
`responds from here about 10 min later saying a new device comes with a 1 yrs manufactures
`warranty. Duh I already knew that. Wait for the best part when
`i finally get a call from
`customer service now i'm being told i didn't by a new phone I b ought a certified like new
`phone even though the phone was in the box and all unopened. So i only had a 90 warranty.
`Now I ask you this why would I go to a store and buy a certifie d pre owned phone on the next
`plan ﴾ full price under installment plan﴿ when I could get a new phone for the same price. The
`gentleman who contacted me was very courteous though and heard me out but that's just not
`good enough. I feel cheated I am at a loss for words really i'm not i'm glad no one can hear
`this profanity in my mind. Of course they just 200 plus dollars
` and you can upgrade first off I
