`I.
`INTRODUCTION
`Petitioner filed a motion to withdraw Mr. David D. Schumann as lead
`counsel, to substitute Mr. Brian M. Hoffman as lead counsel, and to
`substitute Mr. Michael J. Sacksteder as back-up counsel in the above-listed
`proceedings.2 Paper 31 (“Motion” or “Mot.”). We authorized the Motion in
`an email dated September 16, 2015. Patent Owner does not oppose the
`Motion. For the following reasons, the Motion is granted.
`II. ANALYSIS
`Counsel may withdraw from an inter partes review only with
`authorization from the Board. 37 C.F.R. § 42.10(e). The Motion requests
`authorization to withdraw Mr. Schumann as counsel for Petitioner. Mot. 1.
`The Motion designates a new lead counsel, Mr. Hoffman, who is a registered
`practitioner, and designates a new back-up counsel, Mr. Sacksteder, who is
`admitted pro hac vice in these proceedings. Id. Petitioner does not seek any
`time extensions. Id. Therefore, we see no reason to deny the Motion.
`III. ORDER
`In consideration of the foregoing, it is hereby:
`ORDERED that the Motion is granted;
`FURTHER ORDERED that Mr. David D. Schumann may withdraw
`as counsel for Petitioner in the above-listed proceedings;
`FURTHER ORDERED that Mr. Brian M. Hoffman may be
`designated as lead counsel for Petitioner, and Mr. Michael J. Sacksteder may
