`
`Lenny:
`
`It was good seeing you again yesterday and getting another look at the projectors.
`
`
`The following are open items/actions we need to take.
`
`
`1. Schedule for next review schedule in Carlsbad I proposed the AM of Sept
`22nd Friday to Matt and he will get back to me
`2. The best projector for the first system is the Christie; given it has accessible mounting
`hardware with a protruding lens Sound correct
`3. The lens will need to have the shield machined down so we can get the PBS assembly
`as close to the lens as possible ditto
`4. 2D & 3D CAD for the projector with inset lens; Roberto Action Roberto we need
`you for these three items
`5. Z-Screen assembly including the optic, connectors, and mounting hardware; Roberto
`Action
`6. Specs on the Canon lenses that are available for use with the various projectors; Roberto

`
`7. What is the usable active area of the DLP? We heard that 30% is not used. This is very
`important information as it helps us better understand the sizing. We have to plan
`this for the full image area. Matt -- do you know the size?
`8. Z-Screens may not require an input polarizer; but I suggest RealD provide both
`versions. If not needed it will increase transmission. We had assumed that
`clean-up polarizers might be required as needed and the
`prototype can be built with naked ZScreens so we can add or
`subtract sheet polarizers as required.
`
`
`
`Lastly; you were going to send an email to Color Link and inform then that CDS is an important
`supplier to RealD and that the work they are doing you CDS is a priority. I'll speak to
`Josh.
`
`If I can think of anything else I’ll follow-up.
