`
`Matt:
`
`
`Thanks for the information.
`
`
`Could you please answer the questions below as it will really help with the study. By the way, the
`system is quite large even with the 30 degree cone.
`
`
`Jerry
`
`
`1. Distance from the lens front to the screen.
`2. Focal length and working F/# or NA of the projection lens at the image source plane.
`3. Exit pupil size and location from the lens front
`4. System optical magnification or providing object size and image size at screen
`5. Total output lumens (for potential heat concerns)

`Jerry:
`
`The angle subtended by the screen at the projector is usually definef as 'throw ratio' which is the ratio of the
`projection distance to the width of the screen. The lenses are specd by the mfgrs by the throw ratio.
`
` A
`
` typical theatre has a throw ratio of 1.8:1. They vary from about 1.4:1 to about 3.5:1.
`
`
`The target spec of 30 degrees is for the typical. We should look at the wider angles and figure out if-how
`the wider angle could be addressed.
`
`We should have a discussion about this I expect that there will be compromizes as well as opportunities for
`improvements. We may need a multi SKU strategy to address the universe.
`
`I'm in LA next week - tursday and thursday look the most open at the moment.
`
`Matt.
