`The Com One Bluetooth 2.1 multimedia speakers take the
`technology to a new level because they connect to
`computers, MP3 players or anything else that puts out
`sound.

`Fort Worth Star-Telegram
`NAV300
`Delphi's GPS device, the
`Nav300, gets you where you
`need to go but can also
`entertain you on the way.
`Features: Real-time traffic;
`alerts for upcoming road signs;
`correct lane alert; speed limits
`and text-to-speech lets users
`hear the street names
`announced along with turn-by-
`turn directions. A two-gigabyte
`SD memory card preloaded with
`maps of the U.S. and Canada is
`included. Icons are displayed on
`the 3.5-inch LCD to locate
`franchises, and Zagat ratings
`provide dining and travel
`information. Bluetooth
`connectivity allows hands-free
`calling using a built-in
`microphone with compatible
`phones. Entertainment features
`include games, movie player, MP3 player and picture viewer. Media can be loaded with an
`additional SD card (sold separately).
`Price: $399 at ShopDelphi.com; $319.95 at Amazon.com. A Delphi Real-Time Traffic Kit
`can be purchased for $199 for a lifetime of service.

`BLUETOOTH SPEAKERS
`When people think of Bluetooth technology, most only know about cell-phone earpieces.
`The Com One Bluetooth 2.1 multimedia speakers take the technology to a new level
`because they connect to computers, MP3 players or anything else that puts out sound.
`Features: The two speakers (3-watt, 1-inch speakers in a 7-inch case) and subwoofer
`deliver 3-D surround sound up to 33 feet from the source.
`Devices can be played with Bluetooth or plugged in directly via a standard 3.5 mm jack on
`the back of the subwoofer.
`A wired remote controls the power and volume and has a headphone hookup.
`Bluetooth devices must be paired and the speakers are always in a discoverable mode,
`making it simple.
`With the non-Bluetooth enameled devices, it's still not a problem: Just attach a Com One
`Bluetooth transmitter (sold separately, $36.99 at Amazon.com).
`Multiple devices can be paired with the unit to eliminate the need for multiple sets of
`speakers.
`Price: MSRP $199

`ZIPIT WIRELESS MESSENGER Z2
`Teenagers and instant messaging (IM) go together like pumpkins and Halloween - just ask
`any parent who's tried to get on the family computer while an IM-ing teen is busily chatting
`online.
`The brand-new Zipit Wireless Messenger Z2 offers a solution: free messaging, no
`computer required.
`Rechargeable and pocket-size, the portable device has a full keyboard and lets you use
`the most popular IM applications, AOL, MSN and Yahoo! It works wirelessly, on any open
`Internet connection. Users can participate in many conversations at once, using any
`combination of IM channels.
`We found it easy to use, and appreciated that it also includes a music player that plays
`from a memory card or streamed from the Internet, plus a photo viewer.
`The bad news: For now, it's available online only, and the manufacturer does not expect to
`start shipping for four to six weeks. But the good news: Once you get it, you're set; there
