`
`Music:
`Kaiser Chiefs: Employment
`If you haven't already heard of this Brit rock band, you're
`sure to after their debut album drops this week. The Kaiser
`Chiefs are getting raves from fans and critics for their first
`U.S. single, "I Predict a Riot," which has an early Clash vibe
`going on. The group also won renowned British music mag
`NME's Radar (a.k.a. band to watch) award. Last year's
`winners? Franz Ferdinand, who are fans as well. They invited
`the Chiefs to open for them on a few shows. Mixing rock, pop,
`and old-school punk influences, Employment is one of those
`CDs you won't be able to stop listening to.
`
`TV:
`Project Greenlight: Season 3 Season Premiere
`OK, so the first two films that came out of the Project
`Greenlight pipeline have not been critical darlings, but so
`what? That certainly shouldn't stop you from enjoying the
`"making of" drama. This time around, Matt Damon, Ben
`Affleck, and Chris Moore call in some outside help so the
`Greenlight finalists' project will be more commercially
`successful: horror movie mastermind Wes Craven. Will the
`third time be a charm? Tune in to Bravo to find out.
`
`DVD
`She's Too Young
`When we first caught She's Too Young, a Lifetime Original
`Movie, we have to admit we found it way more realistic than
`we'd expected. It's based on the true story of a community
`struggling with an epidemic of sexually transmitted diseases
`among its teen population, and stars Alexis Dziena as
`Hannah, a 14-year-old who starts dating Nick (Everwood's
`Mike Erwin) and who discovers that the pressure to have sex
`is huge. It's a serious topic, and Lifetime suggests you watch
`it with a parent so you can talk after.
`
`Tech Toy
`K-Byte Zipit Wireless Messenger
`IM-ing your friends is a fun activity, but a computer
`dependent one as well. Now, with this nifty new device from
`K-Byte, you can IM on the go. Zipit wirelessly connects to the
`Internet and works with major instant messaging services
`AOL, MSN, and Yahoo. It's $100, but there's no service charge
`after that, so there won't be any shocking bills at the end of
`the month like when you overzealously text-message on your
`cell. Choose from a red, blue, white, pink, silver or charcoal
`Zipit and hopefully your morning bus ride to school will be a
`lot more interesting.

`Do you believe rap feuds
`glamorize violence?
`
`Yes, I do. It makes
`people think that it's cool
`to carry guns and get
`into fights.
`
`No, I don't. People realize
`it's about publicity.
