`
`ARCHITECTURE
`
`The Emulex LightPulseTM Fibre Channel PCI Host Adapter is designed using 3 custom VLSI chips. These highly integrated chips provide
`a simple, high level command block interface to Fibre Channel protocols using a built-in protocol engine with an integrated RISC
`processor. This reduces host requirements, while simplifying the driver interface.
`
`HOST SUPPORT
`
`The LightPulse Fibre Channel PCI Host Adapter provides simultaneous and concurrent multiple driver support. Up to four independent
`data paths/protocols can interoperate autonomously with the host adapter. Emulex is providing both network and storage drivers, IP and
`SCSI-FCP for Microsoft Windows NT, IBM AIX, and Mac SCSI environments.
