`PETITIONERS’ REQUEST FOR ORAL ARGUMENT
`
`

`
`Proceeding Nos. IPR2014-00901 and IPR2014-00949
`Attorney Docket: 27450-0011IP1
`
`
`
`Pursuant to 37 C.F.R. § 42.70(a), the Scheduling Order (Paper 15),
`
`and the Notice of Joint Stipulation to Revise Schedule (Paper 17), VMware,
`
`IBM and Oracle (“Petitioners”) request an opportunity to present oral
`
`argument regarding the unpatentability of the challenged claims of U.S.
`
`Patent No. 6,978,346 (“the ’346 patent”). Petitioners request one hour of
`
`argument time per side, (without waiving consideration of any issue) to
`
`address the grounds on which the IPR was instituted, as well as any
`
`additional issues on which the Board seeks clarification.
`
`For oral argument, which will be held August 28, 2015, Petitioners
`
`request to use video equipment to display exhibits, including the use of a
`
`projector and screen that may be connected to Petitioners’ counsel’s laptop
`
`computer. Petitioners’ counsel’s laptop computer will have a VGA-type
`
`connector. In addition, Petitioners request that an ELMO-type projector be
`
`made available for use.
