`auctions from anywhere in the world!
`Start by previewing the online catalog for upcoming auctions.

`You can find items for upcoming auctions by selecting an event from the Amazon.com
`LiveBid Auctions Event Calendar, located at http://livebid.amazon.com/. Selecting an
`event will place you on the Event Details page. Click on "View Inventory" for a complete
`inventory list. Just select the thumbnail image or name of the item that you are interested
`in for a complete description and picture.
`Membership is easy - just follow these two steps.
`
`1. Sign up with Amazon.com LiveBid Auctions - The information you provide us will
`automate many of the steps for the second part of the registration process.
`
`2. Register for the specific event that you are interested in attending online. To
`register for an auction, go to our home page, http://livebid.amazon.com/. Select
`"sign in" and enter your LiveBid Auctions username and password. On the status
`page, select the name of the event that interests you and complete the registration
`form. Please check your status before the day of the event to verify that the auction
`house has approved your registration. If the auction house has approved you to bid
`in the event, the link will display "approved" in the Status field.
`

`Place an absentee bid and let Amazon.com LiveBid Auctions
`manage the bidding for you!
`
`You must register for each event in which you wish to bid. Once you have registered and if
`absentee bids are being accepted for the event, you will find a "Place an Absentee Bid"
`box on the description pages of items available for preview. From this box, simply enter
`the maximum amount that you are willing to pay for the item; once the auction house
`approves your registration, Amazon.com LiveBid Auctions will manage the bidding for you,
`both prior to and during the live auction.
`

`Absentee bids placed by bidders not yet approved by the auction house will be cancelled
`when the event starts.
`How to bid live in an event.
`
`On the day of the event, go to our home page, http://livebid.amazon.com/. Select "sign
`in" and enter your LiveBid Auctions username and password. Select the name of the event
`for which you have been approved for. (We recommend that all customers check their
`approved status before the day of the event. After selecting the "Bid Now" button, the
`Auction Trader will launch, LiveBid's interface to the live auction. To place a bid on an
`item, select the gray Bid! button. If you are the leading bidder, your username will be
`displayed. If you find the audio delay confusing, we recommend that you turn off the audio
`when bidding. The audio is for entertainment value only.
`Stop, look, and listen to a live event.
`
