`Petitioners Boston Scientific Corporation and Boston Scientific Scimed, Inc.
`
`(collectively, “Petitioners”) respectfully request refund of the Inter Partes Review
`
`post-institution fees paid on May 16, 2014 in connection with the instant
`
`proceeding in the amount of $14,000.00. Should such a request be granted, the
`
`refund may be deposited into Deposit Account No. 50-2387.
`
`On May 16, 2014, Petitioners filed a Petition for Inter Partes Review of U.S.
`
`Patent No. 8,048,032 (the “Petition”), which was subsequently assigned case
`
`number IPR2014-00760. In accordance with the fee schedule specified in 37
`
`C.F.R. § 42.15(a), Petitioners submitted an electronic payment in the amount of
`
`$23,000.00 with the United States Patent and Trademark Office at the time of
`
`filing the Petition. Petitioners’ payment consisted of $9,000.00 in Inter Partes
`
`Review request fees and $14,000.00 in Inter Partes Review post-institution fees.
`
`On August 6, 2014, the Board terminated the instant proceeding prior to
`
`instituting trial. See Paper 6. Accordingly, Petitioners respectfully request refund
`
`of the Inter Partes Review post-institution fees paid on May 16, 2014 in
`
`connection with the instant proceeding in the amount of $14,000.00.
