`Conduct of the Proceedings
`37 C.F.R. § 42.5
`
`
`
`IPR2014-00689
`Patent 7,293,520
`
`On April 29, 2014, Petroleum Geo-Services Inc. (“Petitioner”) filed a
`
`motion for admission pro hac vice of Christopher A. Suarez (pro hac vice
`
`motion) in order that he may serve as backup counsel in this inter partes
`
`review. On May 23, 2014, in an email to the Board’s administrative staff,
`
`Petitioner indicated that the motion was now moot because Mr. Suarez had
`
`been formally informed that he is now licensed and registered as a practicing
`
`attorney before the USPTO (Registration No. 72,553) and asked to withdraw
`
`the pro hac vice motion. In response, we authorized Petitioner to file a
`
`motion to withdraw the pro hac vice motion and to file an updated
`
`mandatory notice listing Christopher A. Suarez as backup counsel.
`
`On June 3, 2014, Petitioner has filed an unopposed motion to
`
`withdraw the pro hac vice motion and filed the updated mandatory notice.
`
`Having reviewed the motion, we agree to withdraw the pro hac vice motion
`
`and recognize that Christopher A. Suarez is listed as backup counsel.
`
`
`
`
`
`Accordingly, it is
`
`ORDERED that, the motion for admission pro hac vice of Christopher
`
`A. Suarez filed April 29, 2014 (Paper 7) is withdrawn.
