`
`
`ORDER
`Conduct of the Proceedings
`37 C.F.R. § 42.5
`
`
`
`On July 28, 2014, a conference call was held in the above proceedings
`
`regarding a request via email by Patent Owner for authorization for a motion to
`
`seal and to discuss the Panel’s July 24th Order. Present on the call were counsel for
`
`the parties and Administrative Patent Judges Bryan Moore, Scott Daniels, and
`
`Beverly Bunting, and a court reporter.
`
`An order discussing the substance of the call will follow shortly this order.
`
`During the call, however, the possibility of Petitioner updating the real party in
`
`interest was raised and discussed. Given that at least one of the Patent Owner’s
`
`Preliminary Responses in these inter partes reviews were due to be filed on the day
`
`of the call and given that the issue regarding real party in interest may affect the
`
`substance of the Preliminary Responses, the Panel ordered, on the call, a five
`
`business day extension for Patent Owner to file its preliminary responses. This
`
`Order memorializes the verbal order from the call.
`
`
`
`It is
`
`ORDERED that due dates for Patent Owner’s preliminary responses in the
`
`above entitled cases are extended by five business days.
