`U.S. PATENT 6,805,779
`Petition for Inter Partes Review
`
`Administrative Patent Judge Joni Chang has been designated to manage the
`
`proceeding.
`
`In the Notice of Filing Date Accorded to Petition (“Notice”), Petitioner was
`
`provided five business days to identify “[h]ow the challenged claims is to be
`
`construed.”
`
`Accordingly, Petitioner submits a Revised Petition setting forth that the term
`
`“multi-step ionization,” which is recited in all the independent claims should
`
`construed as “an ionization process whereby ions are ionized in at least two distinct
`
`steps.” Moreover, a small number of section headings were shortened to comply
`
`with the 60-page limit. No further changes (e.g., new grounds) were made to the
`
`Revised Petition.
`
`Respectfully Submitted,
