`This measure reports the amount of money retail pharmacies, mail service pharmacies, non-federal hospitals,
`federal facilities, long-term care facilities, clinics, HMOs, home healthcare facilities, and miscellaneous facilities
`spent on a product acquired from manufacturers and drug wholesalers.

`Allocating Retail & Non-Retail Dollars by NDTI
`
`To allocate Retail & Non-Retail Dollars by NDTI data, be sure to select the version from the Measures Available for
`NDTI Allocation selection list. There are two versions of Retail & Non-Retail Dollars shown in this list:
`
`0 The standard version (SOL TOT)
`0 The without Long-Term Care version, which is the equivalent of the standard version, but with the long-
`term care channel excluded (DCL TOT w/o LTC)
`
`The Measures Available for NDTI Allocation versions of Retail & Non-Retail Dollars are available only to clients with
`subscription access to allocation. The Without Long-Term Care version can be used without an allocation statistic,
`but it is not available with the base IMS National Sales Perspectives measures.
`
`Special Considerations
`
`0 The total includes only those channels to which you subscribe, but can be limited by excluding channels or
`limiting channels in your market definition.
