`that incorporates every file and
`photo on your PC into what
`amounts to a huge Personal Infor·
`mation Manager that puts what
`you need at your fmgertips almost
`as fast as you know you need it.
`Tracker starts out by creating a
`huge index of every file name and
`its content on your machine and
`then retrieves stuff by keyword
`searches. Once created, a search

`the PC.

`Particularly slick are features
`that index all the e-mail one accu(cid:173)
`mulates in America Online,
`Microsoft Outlook, Eudora and
`others. For heavy AOt" fiiail users,
`who lack all but the most clumsy
`search powers, this feature makes
`the package worth ~ts freight.
`Internet features let you use a
`number of Web search engines
`including AltaVista and Excite I
`and then add hotlinks to Internet
`content to the index of what's on_-~
`your hard drive.
