`On October 9, 2014, we received an email from Counsel for Petitioner
`
`Brose, indicating some concern regarding how we treat various claim
`
`challenges and a Motion for Joinder filed in inter partes review IPR2014-
`
`00650, petitioned by Webasto Roof Systems.
`
`Petitioner seeks the opportunity to have a conference call related to
`
`this issue or at least to put into the record “a formal, but short statement of
`
`its position and concerns with respect to any potential joinder with respect to
`
`claims 11, 15 and 16 of the ’802 patent.”
`
`A conference call is not necessary. Petitioner is hereby authorized to
`
`file a 5 page memorandum in IPR2014-00417 setting forth its position, on or
`
`before Thursday, October 16, 2014. Petitioner Brose is not a party to
`
`IPR2014-00650 and may not file any documents in that case. We are aware
`
`of Patent Owner’s position with regard to potential joinder. See IPR2014-
`
`00650, Paper 12.
