`call first, first with Petitioner.

`Honor. This is Joshua Goldberg for OpenTV and with
`me I have Erika Arner and Alyssa Holtslander. And
`I also want to let you know we have a court

` JUDGE MEDLEY: Okay. Thank you. This
`is the initial conference call to IPRs 2014-00252,
`267 and 269. As we understand it neither party
`seeks authorization to file a motion at this time.
`We understand that Patent Owner is still
`contemplating filing a motion to amend.

` In any of these cases I want to let
`Patent Owner know that they, as they know, they
`must arrange a conference call when they decide or
`if they decide to file a motion to amend and with
`the Board and opposing counsel discuss the proposed
`motion to amend.
` And I would just like to ask that you
`please not wait until the day just prior to the due
`date or close to the due date because it sometimes
`can cause problems. So we would prefer a
`conference call as soon as you know if you would
`like to file a motion to amend.
` MR. GOLDBERG: Understood, Your Honor.
`We will definitely do that.
` JUDGE MEDLEY: Okay. And then for any
`other motion that a party seeks authorization to
`file not contemplated per the scheduling order, the
`party requesting the authorization must arrange a
`conference call with opposing counsel and the Board
`and just you can do that via e-mail just letting us
`generally know what is the issue and when the
`parties are available for a conference call.

`parties are there any motions that they contemplate
`filing other than possible motions to amend that
`weren't listed? Beginning with Petitioner.
` MR. EHMKE: Your Honor, this is Andy
`Ehmke. At this time no other motions are
`contemplated.

`without obtaining prior authorization from the
`Board that the parties can stipulate to different
`dates for dates 1 through 5.
` So that's a pretty powerful tool the
`parties have between the two of them to arrange
`things the way they want to if the schedule is not
`amenable to cross-examination and things like that.
`You just need to let us know and file appropriate
`motions with the Board. And the parties may not
`stipulate to any other changes to the scheduling
`order.
` Are there any reports of settlement?
`Beginning with Patent Owner, Mr. Goldberg.
