`The parties presented an authorized joint motion for withdrawal of
`representation of patent owner by Anthony F. Lo Cicero and Abraham
`Kasdan. Paper 13.
`37 C.F.R. § 42.10(e) permits counsel to withdraw from a proceeding
`before the board when authorized to do so. We grant the motion for reasons
`set forth below.
`Patent Owner filed a Preliminary Response on March 17, 2014 (Paper
`12). A decision has not yet been issued with regard to institution of trial on
`claims challenged by the corrected petition (Paper 6). The Board has
`already received a Power of Attorney from new counsel for the Patent
`Owner (Paper 15). The substitution of counsel is being made without any
`alteration to the schedule of this matter.
`Patent Owner has submitted a Power of Attorney (Paper 15)
`designating new Patent Owner Counsel Thomas Engellenner and Reza
`Mollaaghababa. That Power of Attorney does not specify “lead counsel”
`and “back-up counsel.” In the absence of such information, we designate
`Thomas Engellenner, listed first on the Power of Attorney as lead counsel
`and Reza Mollaaghababa, listed second on the Power of Attorney as back-up
`counsel. If Patent Owner intends otherwise, it should file an appropriate
`request for change.

`
`It is hereby
`ORDERED that the joint motion requesting that Anthony F. Lo
`Cicero and Abraham Kasdan be withdrawn as Counsel for Patent Owner is
`granted.
`FURTHER ORDERED that the Power of Attorney (Paper 15) from
`Patent Owner is hereby accepted.
`FURTHER ORDERED that Thomas Engellenner is hereby designated
`as lead counsel for Patent Owner and Reza Mollaaghababa is hereby
`designated as back-up counsel for Patent Owner.
