`
`ORDER
`Conduct of the Proceeding
`37 C.F.R. § 42.5
`
`A conference call was conducted on July 25, 2014, during which
`counsel for Petitioner and Patent Owner appeared before Judges Weatherly
`and Grossman. On July 17, 2014, Patent Owner filed a Motion to Amend in
`IPR2014-00110 (’110 Paper 16) and a Motion to Amend filed in IPR2014-

`Cases IPR2014-00110 and IPR2014-00111
`Patent 6,482,228 B1
`
`00111 (’111 Paper 16). Both of these motions were 30 pages long, which
`far exceeds the 15-page limit set forth in 37 C.F.R. § 42.24(a)(1)(v).
`Patent Owner now seeks permission to file substitute Motions to
`Amend that comply with the 15-page limit for such motions. Patent Owner
`represented that it served and Petitioner confirmed that it received copies of
`proposed substitute motions to amend on July 22. Petitioner does not object
`to the filing of those proposed substitute motions to amend. Furthermore,
`both parties agree that the originally filed motions to amend should be
`expunged.
`
`ORDER
`
`For the reasons given, it is:
`ORDERED that the Motion to Amend in IPR2014-00110 (’110
`Paper 16) and the Motion to Amend filed in IPR2014-00111 (’111 Paper 16)
`shall be expunged from the record in each proceeding.
`FURTHER ORDERED that, on or before August 1, 2014, the Patent
`Owner is authorized to file as substitute motions to amend the proposed
`substitute motions to amend that it served on Petitioner on July 22, 2014.
