`Case IPR2013-00593; -00594;-00597;-00598
`Patent 8,045,952; 8,050,652; 8,230,099; 8,214,873
`
`
`
`The Mandatory Notice filed by Black Hills Media, Inc. (“Patent Owner”) in
`
`IPR2013-00593 (Paper No. 5), IPR2013-00594 (Paper No. 5), IPR2013-00597
`
`(Paper No. 5), and IPR2013-00598 (Paper No. 7), collectively, the Subject
`
`Proceedings, identified Stephen J. Tytran as back-up counsel. Our order of
`
`December 26, 2013 in each of the Subject Proceedings required Patent Owner to
`
`designate additional counsel and authorized Mr. Tytran to file a motion to
`
`withdraw, if appropriate. On December 31, 2013, the Board received a Motion For
`
`Withdrawal of Representation By Stephen J. Tytran in each of the Subject
`
`Proceedings.
`
`In accordance with 37 C.F.R. § 111, Mr. Tytran demonstrated Patent
`
`Owner’s consent to Mr. Tytran’s withdrawal, as evidenced by Patent Owner’s
`
`filing a new power of attorney on December 31, 2013 in each of the Subject
`
`Proceedings. Patent Owner’s most recent power of attorney revokes all previous
`
`powers of attorney and appoints registered patent attorneys, not including Mr.
`
`Tytran. Mr. Tytran has also agreed to take steps to protect Patent Owner’s
`
`interests. In view of the circumstances, Mr. Tytran has been discharged from this
`
`matter by Patent Owner, his withdrawal will not have a material adverse effect on
`
`the interests of Patent Owner and good cause for withdrawal exists. See, 37 C.F. R.
`
`§ 111.
`
`In consideration of the above,
`
`it is ORDERED that the Motion For Withdrawal of Representation By
`
`Stephen J. Tytran in each of the Subject Proceedings is GRANTED.
