`
`Has anyone tried the secret fit belly jeans from Motherhood Maternity? I'm in the stage where nothing fits!
`My normals jeans are too tight around my belly to be comfortable and my prego pants are nowhere near
`fitting yet. This is my last baby and don't want to spend a ton on new clothes, but these look awesome.

`I'm in the same boat as you, but I've never heard of these jeans. I would love more info too!! How far along
`are you? I just hit 16 weeks today.

`What are the secret fit belly jeans? Are they the ones that have the bad that goes way up?

`
`I just noticed these on thier wesite the other day! I thought they looked great. I was also wondering about
`the comfort. I think the knee length denim skirt looked really cute for spring. I hope someone has tried them
`and can pass along some info!

`
`When my sister and I were at Motherhood maternity the other day we saw the secret fit jeans and decided to
`try them. They are $29.99 there. She usually wears between a small and a medium and the small fit her
`well. I wear a medium most of the time but the small fit me better at this point except that the crotch on the
`pant was wrong for my shape. It hung kinda funny. On the mediums, they were a bit to big around the butt
`and thighs but at least the crotch was fine. My sister decided to buy the small and I decided to pass until
`maybe later and maybe I'll go back and try them again when I'm farther along. So really you should just go
`try a pair for yourself.

`
`I think I'm gonna go try some on. I need a little something for myself! I'm about 15 weeks and have been
`wearing the same pair of pants every day for probably 2 months now!! So, it's either find some more fat
`pants or buy something cute...Hmmmm...

`
`I am wearing my secret fit belly jeans right now! These jeans, I kid you not, are the most comfortable jeans I
`own. I wear them almost everyday now that I am 38 week pregnant and everything else is soooooo
`uncomfortable. I can wear these jeans all day and they never hurt. I paid $80-ish for mine and wish that I
`had bought 2 or three pairs. Hands down the best invention since my last pregnancy!

`
`I don't get it.... how are these any different than the full panel pants that were around about 5 years ago
`(before the demi panel & low rise pants)?
`

`

`
`Mvse- They are similar to the old panel pants but the strechy material goes all the way around. I'm not
`pregnant but these look lovely! I love that the panel goes all the way around. They would be so comfy and
`they would stay up better than those annoying underbelly and even more comfortable than the old panel
`ones. If anyone is pregnant reading this, wondering if they should buy- I would say go for it! I had a skirt
`from Motherhood that had this same idea but the panel didn't go up as high. I LOVED it but hated that you
`could see the top of them across the middle of my belly under my shirts. It was really a nice skirt- it worked
`well after I had my baby too cause of the elastic waist.

`
`I read about these jeans, BUT i went to Mimi Maternity, NOT Motherhood and at Mimi they are $98 ON
`SALE.. I was SHOCKED that so many people had these jeans.. I'm glad to know that they are at Motherhood
`and not Mimi.. So don't go there unless you want to spend a fortune!!:)

`
`The jeans are a lot cuter than the old ones, too. They look like normal jeans, not prego ones an if you have
`the tummy sleeve or belly band to layer, what a cutie you'll be! I'd buy a pair of this wasn't my last
`pregnancy...

`
`I'm not pregnant and never will be again, but those look great! I hated buying pants this last pregnancy.
`Who ever thought low rise maternity jeans were a good idea? Makes no sense to me at all! These look like
`they'd be super comfy and actually stay up!

`
`I can't believe the prices you guys are talking about. I got mine for $29 at Motherhood and they ARE the
`most comfortable jeans ever. I have a skirt that only has the panel in the front and I hate it now when I wear
`it. I hope they are still $29 because I need another pair.

`
`Thanks for the explanation! I will have to try them out. I didn't like the older style full panel either - like you
`said, I didn't like that you could see the panel through shirts. I also didn't like that that the stretchy panel
`went down so low b/c if you weren't wearing a super long shirt you would be able to see it.
`
`I think the ones that are around $90 at Mimi and Pea in a Pod are actually designer jeans (sevens, joes
`jeans, etc), which is why they are so much more expensive.

`
`I noticed there were some at Motherhood for 19.99 and then some at 29.99 and I think some more were
`35....but what is the difference between them? Anyone know? Also, why do some have the blue stretchy
`belly and some have the cream stretchy belly?

`
`These look nice. Im am 16 weeks also (well on Monday) and I am curently wearing my levis without the
`button done up. I have never seen these before and was not excited about buying pants again. I will

`
`A belly band is a band that you wear around your mid section. It is good because it gives the layered look
`and you can still wear your pants & cover up the fact that the top button is undone! You can get one at
`Motherhood for like $16 or so.

`shorts were about $26. They are so comfortable!

`
`I am 16 weeks on Monday too. :) I have 2 belly bands, 1 black & 1 white and they are the best. You can
`wear them with your regular pants with the button undone until they are too small and they don't fall down
`or unzip. Then you can wear them with your maternity pants if they are still too big to hold them up & they
`cover your whole belly. I love mine, they were worth it!

`These jeans are the BEST! I bought one pair when I was about 34 weeks and wish I would have bought more
`to wear when I'm preggo again. They are the most comfortable pants I've ever worn. I should get pregnant
`again, just to wear these pants. :D

`
`I had a pair of these when I had my baby and I hated them. I might just haVe been me but I really didnt like
`mine. I couldnt get them to stay up on my belly and then once they would they were too tight. I would not
`recommend these but I'm really picky about my pants and I bought the ones that have the stretchy sides, or
`just the streatch in the back and I liked those but that was just me!

`I stopped by Motherhood Maternity yesterday and they had the same jeans as the link (in long) for the same

`
`yeah, too bad they are ugly looking, but having ANY longs is definitely an improvement. It was 1.5 years ago
`when they first came out and I tried to get some at that time with my previous pregnancy. Glad to see they

`I personally don't think they are ugly at all! I am 5'10" and 26 weeks preggo. I happen to LOVE these jeans.

`
`I love these Jeans .I am 6ft 2in & thought they would be too short but the strechy band makes them so
`comfy. I bought the jeans & the black pants & i wear them every day. They expand with you. I am 33
`weeks.I am so glad i found these, because they look like normal clothes. Also try the outlets. I dorve almost
`two hours to go to Las Vegas which has the regular stores, but they have an outlet down there. The stuff id
`alot cheaper at the outlet.

`
`I bought a pair of these jeans at Motherhood and LOOOOOOVE them!!!!! I have been trying to find jeans that
`are long enough for me because I usually wear a 34 or 36 inseam jean, so NONE of the regular maternity
`jeans are long enough. I bought them in the bootcut size Large- LONG, and they are perfect!!! They are the
`only maternity jeans I've ever found that are long enough...
`
`I also love the tummy panel. It's stretchy enough to go over my now 8 1/2 month prego belly, which is quite
`amazing! I think I spent $36.00 on them and have basically worn them everyday since I got them, so I'd say
`it was well worth the money!

`
`Have any of you tried Ross? I'm 5' 11" & 3/4 inches(o.k. I should just say I'm 6' tall:)) but I've been lucky
`enough to find two pairs of maternity jeans at Ross for under $10 that are long and they look like designer
`jeans on the back pockets. I'm picky with what I'll wear too - I hate unshaplely fat pants, but these are boot
`cut, and have a real soft denim and I'm guessing a 34 inch inseam because they are long. I'm 25 weeks
`prego and I'm already huge (this is my 3rd boy), and they fit great. Don't be disappointed if you go and can't
`find any the first time, it's been hit or miss with me - and I tried on several, but I did eventually find some
`long enough. The last pair I bought was only $6.
`
`jessicarae1060
`
`12-12-2009, 09:39 AM
`
`The only ones I have ever seen at Ross have really strange bellys. What I mean is that they aren't really
`quite high enough in the belly and once you really get bigger (I am 8 months with my 3rd now), they cut you

`off in the middle and leave your belly looking flat and square in front. the panel was also tight and not
`stretchy like the ones from Motherhood.
`
`I probably didn't find the ones you are talking about then!

`
`I know which ones you are talking about with the really strange bellys, they have a band instead of a full
`belly panel. They are aweful, I've tried those on before - no way. But I was at the Layton Ross a few days
`ago and found another pair of the pants with the full stretchy belly panel, & they were reduced to $4.49. My
`dh couldn't believe they were so cheap because they look like regular jeans, they are really cute. They look
`just like the motherhood jeans (except I think the Ross ones have cutier back pockets), but they are the
`same denim fabric and boot cut. I wish I knew how to post a picture.
`
`jessicarae1060
`

`
`They do sound cute. I am started to feel frumpy at this point, but since I only have a few weeks left I will
`just stick it out.
`
`I say invest in yourself when you are pregnant. Get some jeans (like those) that make you feel more
`attractive!!

`my prob with maternity pants is that I have a little butt and so all the jeans that have the jeans end up
`sliding down and I have to pull them up all day. I end up with an inch of space where my crotch ends and the
`jeans end. can anyone recommend some pants that wont fall off? I have some secret fit belly jeans and
`these dont stay up. i have the kind that are the mid belly band kind and they slip down too. i also have the
`kind with just the two inch band that go all the way around and those fall off too...but not as bad. Any
`recommendations? Is it hopeless?

`
`They have some that are adjustable waist, just like a toddler's pants. Those might stay up better for you. I'm
`not sure where I've seen them though, sorry about that. maybe Target? But I agree with the way too much
`space in the crotch. Ugh, just found out I'm pregnant (3rd, and it was NOT planned) so I'm dreading pulling

`
`I've been reading some of your questions regarding the Motherhood Maternity secret fit belly jeans. I just
`bought a pair about two weeks ago and I am 31 weeks. I bought the American Star brand and love them.
`The secret fit belly is pretty comfortable. I have some other maternity jeans and the panel is thicker and is
`now getting too tight for me. The jeans I bought have a very thin material and are tan. This is great because
`I can actually where a white T-shirt, without having to layer too much.

`
`These pants are awesome, they were just coming out when I was preggers the last time. The Panel is diff.
`from the old ones because they are made of lycra, but still strong enough to hold you in, plus they go up
`higher, so they don't give you that line if you wear a more fitted shirt! They are super comfy too!
