`STATEMENT OF PRECISE RELIEF REQUESTED

`Pursuant to 37 C.F.R. § 42.10, Patent Owner Straight Path IP Group, Inc.
`
`(“Straight Path”) respectfully requests that the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (“the
`
`Board”) authorize withdrawal of counsel and appointment of a new power of
`
`attorney.
`

`STATEMENT OF FACTS SHOWING GOOD CAUSE FOR THE
`BOARD TO AUTHORIZE WITHDRAWAL OF COUNSEL AND
`APPOINTMENT OF A NEW POWER OF ATTORNEY
`
`On June 24, 2014, Straight Path designated Alicia Carney as lead counsel
`
`and Alan Fisch and Patrick Lee as backup counsel in the above-captioned inter
`
`partes review.1 Straight Path intends to revoke all prior power of attorneys and
`
`appoint new counsel. Specifically, Straight Path intends to appoint as lead
`
`counsel:

`The facts here establish good cause for the Board to authorize withdrawal of
`
`counsel and appointment of a new power of attorney. Straight Path’s new counsel
`
`meets the requirement of 37 C.F.R. § 42.10(c) as lead counsel and backup counsel
`
`are registered practitioners. In addition, Straight Path’s new counsel have read and
`
`intend to comply with the Office Patent Trial Practice Guide and the Board’s Rules
`
`of Practice for Trials, as set forth in Part 42 of the C.F.R. Furthermore, Petitioner
`
`does not oppose this motion, and thus, there is no prejudice to the Petitioner.
`
`Straight Path respectfully requests that the Board grant its motion to
`
`authorize withdrawal of counsel and appointment of a new power of attorney.
`
`Concurrent with this motion, Straight Path files its new power of attorney. Once
`
`the motion is granted, Straight Path will file updated mandatory notices of
`
`designated lead and backup counsel.
