`CommuniGate Pro Core Server with Groupware
`
`CommuniGate Pro powers total Internet Communications based upon open
`standards like SIP for voice and data communications. The built-in
`CommuniGate Pro Real-Time Communications Server provides both
`Infrastructure and Application functions for standards-based messaging,
`VoIP, video, IM, presence, and real-time collaboration.
`
`Enterprises can reduce TCO for all of their Internet Communications
`Providers benefit by increasing their business application offerings and
`subscriber retention, as well as enhancing hosted services revenue

`
`CommuniGate Pro Core Server provides robust cross-platform groupware
`applications, enabling a cost effective, easy to manage communications
`platform.
`
`CommuniGate Pro Core Server allows sophisticated collaboration services,
`regardless of their desktop or client. Imagine a Windows user instantly
`checking the availability of a Mac user before scheduling a meeting, a
`manager with an Evolution client sharing folders with a remote user thru the
`Web interface, and each of them accessing a single corporate address book.

`
`Outlook
`
`Runs in corporate 'workgroup' mode; sending and receiving email, creating
`filters, managing contacts, sharing folders, and scheduling people and
`resources just as they would with Exchange.
`
`Outlook maintains a real-time connection to the CommuniGate Pro Core
`Server, providing an experience comparable to connectivity with an Exchange
`server. There is no need to perform manual synchs and no extra buttons to
`clutter the Outlook interface.
`
`CommuniGate Pro Core Server also enables advanced administration and
`security features found in the Windows management system including auto
`install and integrated single sign-on support for Active Directory.
`
`Secure connections for sending and receiving mail since the MAPI connector
`runs everything over imap/s including sending messages. This allows
`providers and enterprises the ability to reduce the need for complex VPN
`setups for email.
`
`Web
`
`CommuniGate Pro Core Server extends groupware productivity beyond the
`Windows desktop by providing collaborative functionality via the multi-
`language Web interface. Supported skins have more capabilities than
`Exchange, such as personal Mailing list management, S/MIME controls, and
`SIP 'place call' capabilities.
`
`The integrated Web interface is a secure groupware client, supporting
`messaging, calendaring, scheduling, electronic discussions, and contact

`creation and maintenance. Users can access the same mailboxes, folders
`and calendars from any browser, just as they would with Outlook.
`
`Customizing the look-and-feel of the Web interface to match your intranet is
`easy with the flexible skins-based UI.

`Macintosh
`
`The CommuniGate Pro Core Server can also support your Macintosh users,
`enabling email and calendaring via the AppleMail, iCal and the Safari
`browser.
`
`Linux/Unix/*BSD (and open standards clients)
`
`The CommuniGate Pro Core Server stores all groupware data in open
`standard formats. This ensures interoperability with the popular Linux client
`Novell Evolution and all other clients that adhere to iCalendar, the common
`format for exchanging calendaring and scheduling data over the Internet.
