`Universal Electronics, Inc. (“UEI”) hereby appeals to the United States Court of

`Appeals for the Federal Circuit from the Final Written Decision entered on June
`
`30, 2014, (Paper 33), and from all underlying orders, decisions, rulings and
`
`opinions, including without limitation the Decision on Institution of Inter Partes
`
`Review pursuant to 37 C.F.R. §42.108 entered on July 16, 2013, (Paper 13).
`
`In accordance with 37 C.F.R. §90.2(a)(3)(ii), UEI further indicates that the
`
`issues on appeal include, but are not limited to, the Patent Trial and Appeal
`
`Board’s claim construction, determination of the unpatentability of claims 1—6 of
`
`UEI’s US. Patent No. 6,587,067 (the “‘067 patent”) under 35 U.S.C. § 103,
`
`determination of the proper date of invention for claims 1—6 of the ‘067 patent, and
`
`determination of whether certain alleged prior art constitutes a printed publication
`
`under 35 U.S.C. § 102(a), and, if so, the date of publication under 35 U.S.C. §
`
`1 02(a).
`
`Simultaneous with this submission, a copy of this Notice of Appeal is being
`
`filed with the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. In addition, three copies of this
`
`Notice Appeal, along with the required docketing fees, are being served by hand
`
`with the Clerk’s Office for the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal
`
`Circuit.
