`The versatility and scope of the Corona range of smoke generators is truly

`More Than Just Smoke!
`Security & Theft Prevention
`Corona offers a range of Smoke Screen Systems to accommodate various types
`of security applications. It offers a unique solution to the "Smash and Grab"
`problem when burglars force entry and make their getaway before authorities
`reach the scene. In other adaptations the thermal fog provides for the protection
`of vehicles and their contents, security at abandoned buildings or remote sites
`and the protection of high value items in transit.
`The reliability of the Corona technology and the quality of the
`smoke it produces are uniquely suited as a security tool.
`Corona’s Smoke Screen units are specially designed to confront intruders
`with large volumes of smoke, produced at high velocity. The smoke forms
`an extremely effective barrier, preventing the thief from entering the premises
`and at the same time concealing the contents of the building under a protective
`blanket of smoke.
`Thieves Can't Steal What They Can't See!
`The compact (1 cubic foot) and modular design of the Smoke Screen
`units allows the systems to be accommodated into false ceilings,
`cupboards, display units, wall spaces or existing shop fittings.
`By using ducting and fans the Smoke Screen units can actually be located
`outside of the vulnerable area making it physically impossible for the intruders
`to reach the units. Taking this concept one step further, smoke can pressurized
`and mixed with free air to travel through a ducting system with vents to
`produce the Barricade effect - a wall of smoke that is 9 feet wide, 9 feet high
`and up to 60 feet long in under 20 seconds.

`Fire Fighter Training
`Corona offers smoke machines for "portable" or "fixed" training in unheated
`and heated chambers. More than 80% of all United Kingdom Fire Services, all
`the major oil companies (BP, Exxon, Shell, Texaco etc.), major ferry and ship
`operators (Stena and Cunard) and many major chemical, industrial and
`production plants worldwide use our machines.
`Military Applications
`The smoke generators are NATO approved and in service with many armed
`forces (the United States, United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands).

`Our machines can either produce persistent or quickly dispersing smoke for

`CORONA QUALITY
`Corona smoke generators produce a "dry", non-hazardous, thermal fog,
`consistently and reliably. They can generate up to 7,000 cubic feet of fog
`within one minute. They require minimal servicing and oil-based smoke units
`are completely maintenance free. The generator has been perfected over a
`thirty year period and conforms to ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Standards.
`There is a lifetime warranty on the heat exchanger block and a five year
`warranty on parts.
`Clean, "Dry" Smoke
`"Wet" thermal fog develops when individual particles reach a critically large
`diameter. Their mass will then be too large and they simply fall out of the air to
`form an oily deposit. The liquid particles produced by a Corona machine
`have a diameter that is one fifth the size of those produced by any other
`special purpose smoke systems. They hold less than one hundredth the
`amount of liquid and drop at a rate that is fourteen times slower. Due to its fine
`mist composition very little fluid is required to create Corona's thermal fog
`and it is completely dry and leaves no deposit whatsoever.
`
`Corona’s smoke fluid has been tested by the Canadian Centre for
`Occupational Health and Safety, the US Food and Drugs Administration
`and the Health and Safety Executive in the UK and found to represent no
`health hazard. The machines are NATO codified and in service with the US
`Department of Defense (Navy), Ministry of Defense (UK), Royal Dutch
`Navy and Germany's Bundesmarine.

`Unique Generators and Special Fluid to Provide Unique Smoke
`To suit various applications, Corona offers three types of smoke fluid. Two are
`water-based. The first produces smoke that disperses quickly to suit certain
`special effects. The second water-based fluid delivers smoke that retains low
`visibility for an extended period. Normally this type of smoke will dissipate at
`ambient temperatures of 68o F in around 15 minutes, whereas the smoke
`produced by Corona machines lasts for up to 60 minutes. Other water
`based smoke starts to layer at around 104o F while Corona's smoke retains its
`full quality under temperatures of up to 140o F.
`Oil-based smoke offers higher temperature resistance and consumes less
`fluid for equivalent effect. Corona's oil based smoke exceeds any alternatives
`in terms of performance under high ambient temperature conditions and will
`not layer in an environment of up to 360o F. It is extremely persistent. Only
`10% of volume is required to achieve similar densities compared to water based
`smoke. Using Occupational Exposure Levels as a measure, this makes oil
`based smoke twice a safe as water based alternatives

`The Corona smoke machines are lightweight, compact and extremely simple

`disconnected from the power supply.
