`Pursuant to 37 C.F.R. § 90.2(a), notice is hereby given that Petitioner
`
`Hewlett-Packard Co. (“HP”) appeals to the United States Court of Appeals for the
`
`Federal Circuit from the Final Written Decision entered on May 22, 2014 (Paper
`
`No. 103), and from all underlying findings, orders, decisions, rulings and opinions,
`
`including, without limitation, those within the Decision on Institution of Inter
`
`Partes Review entered on May 24, 2014 (Paper No. 18) and modified on June 11,
`
`2013 (Paper No. 21); and within the Decision on Institution of Inter Partes Review
`
`and motion to join HP and Sony Corporation of America entered on September 16,
`
`2013 (Paper Nos. 12, 13 in IPR2013-00495, joined with IPR2013-00071 (Paper
`
`No. 49) on September 16, 2013). Each of Petitioners Avaya, Dell, and Sony are
`
`concurrently filing notices of appeal in this matter.
`
`In accordance with 37 C.F.R. § 90.2(a)(3)(ii), HP states that the issues on
`
`appeal include, but are not limited to: the decision of the Patent Trial and Appeal
`
`Board denying Petitioners’ petition to cancel claims 6 and 9 of U.S. Patent No.
`
`6,218,930 (“the ’930 patent”); the decision by the Patent Trial and Appeal Board
`
`denying certain grounds advanced by Petitioners in the petition to institute
`
`proceedings to cancel claims 6 and 9 of the ’930 patent; the claim constructions of
`

`the Patent Trial and Appeal Board; the dismissal by the Patent Trial and Appeal
`

`Board of Petitioners’ motion to exclude evidence; and any finding or determination

`supporting or relating to those issues, as well as all other issues decided adversely
`
`to Petitioners in any orders, decisions, rulings and opinions.

`Simultaneous with this submission, a copy of this Notice of Appeal is being
`
`filed with the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. In addition, three copies of this
`
`Notice of Appeal, along with the required docketing fees, are being filed with the
`
`Clerk’s Office for the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
