`Pursuant to 37 C.F.R. § 42.70(a), Patent Owner Versata Development
`
`Group, Inc. (“Versata”) submits this Request for Oral Hearing on the issue of the
`
`patentability of claims 17 and 26-29 of U.S. Patent No. 6,553,350 under 35 U.S.C.
`
`§ 101, including the related § 101 patent eligibility issues raised in the Petition
`
`(Paper 1), Patent Owner Response (Paper 51), and Petitioner’s Reply (Paper 58).
`
`The Board has previously scheduled the Oral Hearing for 2:00 p.m., April 17,
`
`2013. See Paper 45, p. 3.
`
`
`
`During the March 14, 2013, teleconference hearing, the Board asked
`
`whether the parties would have any objections or concerns with the Oral Hearing
`
`being publicly broadcast via telephone or webcast. Versata Exhibit 2098, 20:12 –
`
`25:17. Versata does not object to the Board publicly broadcasting the Oral
`
`Hearing.
`
`
`
`The Board also asked the parties to notify the Board if the total number of
`
`spaces required for the Oral Hearing exceeds the five (5) spaces currently reserved
`
`for each party. Paper 45, p. 3. Versata hereby requests that, in addition to the five
`
`(5) spaces currently reserved, that two (2) additional spaces be reserved at the Oral
`
`Hearing to accommodate its counsel and corporate representatives.
