`
`Re:
`
`United States v. Ashirova et a1.
`
`18 Cr. 509 (GBD)
`
`Dear Judge Daniels,
`
`Following conversations with the Court, the parties are aware that the status conference in
`the above-captioned matter, now scheduled for September 9, 2020, will be adjourned to October
`29, 2020, at 10:00 a.m., to accommodate scheduling and logistical needs in light of the Covid—19
`pandemic.
`In light ofthis adjournment, the Government respectfully requests, with the consent of
`defense counsel, that the Court exclude time under the Speedy Trial Act through the next-
`scheduled conference date. Such an exclusion would be in the interests ofjustice as it would,
`among other things, allow the parties time to continue discussions concerning possible resolutions
`ofthis matter. See 18 U.S.C. § 3161(h)(7)(A).
`
`Respectfully submitted,
`
`Audrey Strauss
