`
`
`
`BASED ON THE FILE, RECORD, AND PROCEEDINGS, AND BECAUSE:
`
`1.
`
`2.
`
`This certiorari appeal was filed by mail on June 14, 2021.
`
`The itemized list of the contents of the record was served electronically on
`
`August 12, 2021. Relator’s brief and addendum were due on September 13, 2021. See
`
`Minn. R. Civ. App. P. 115.04, subd. 4, 126.01; Minn. R. Civ. P. 6.01(a)(1)(C).
`
`
`
`3.
`
`Our records do not reflect that relator has filed a brief or a motion for an
`
`extension. We will afford relator a final opportunity to serve and file a brief and
`
`addendum as directed below. Because relator is self-represented, relator may file an
`
`informal brief.
`
`
`
`
`
`
`
`4.
`
`An informal brief shall contain a concise statement of the party’s arguments
`
`on appeal, together with the addendum required by Minn. R. Civ. App. P. 130.01. Minn.
`
`R. Civ. App. P. 128.01, subd. 1. The informal brief shall have a cover and any paper
`
`copy may be bound by stapling. Id.
`
`
`
`5.
`
`The addendum filed with relator’s brief must include a copy of the May 13,
`
`2021 decision from which the appeal is taken. See Minn. R. Civ. App. P. 130.02(a)
`
`(governing appealing party’s addendum).
`
`
`
`
`
`
`
`IT IS HEREBY ORDERED:
`
`1.
`
`2.
`
`Relator shall serve and file a brief and addendum by October 4, 2021.
`
`Relator may file an informal brief in compliance with Minn. R. Civ. App.
`
`P. 128.01, subd. 1.
`
`
`
`3.
`
`Relator’s failure to serve and file a brief and addendum by October 4, 2021,
`
`may result in the imposition of sanctions, including dismissal of this appeal.
