` A Okay.
` Q Is that modulation?
` A Well, you -- in -- if you're multiplying
`it, you're -- you are modulating it, but then in
`another sense, you could -- you could say the
`result is an unmodulated sequence because it hasn't
`been changed because you're using the two terms in
`slightly different ways.
` Q What do you mean by results?
` A So the -- so we're taking this waveform
`that's being created with all ones and we're
`multiplying it by a waveform that is being created
`by the sequence.
` Q Okay.
` A That product, the output of that is a
`signal that is -- we could -- we could say that
`that's a modulation process. We're modulating, but
`because we're using all ones, the result is that
`the sequence values themselves have not been
`changed. They're unchanged, so the sequence values
`are unmodulated.
` Q So you'd say the result of that is an
`unmodulated sequence; is that right?
` A I would say the result of that is a
