`PLAINTIFF’S STATUS UPDATE OF INTER PARTES REVIEW
`PROCEEDINGS
`Consistent with this Court’s request at the November 28, 2022, status
`
`conference, and in response to Defendants’ Status Update of Post-Grant Proceedings
`
`(Dkt. 186), Plaintiff Neo Wireless, LLC writes to respectfully notify the Court of the

`Case 2:22-md-03034-TGB ECF No. 194, PageID.11451 Filed 10/24/23 Page 2 of 5
`
`
`
`status of inter partes review proceedings that were filed on the asserted patents in
`
`this litigation. Since Defendants’ Status Update, several additional decisions have
`
`been issued in “duplicative” proceedings relating to the ’908, ’941, and ’450 patents.
`
`But these proceedings, like certain others that remain pending, are not “new”
`
`decisions substantively, since they simply resolve the duplicative proceedings in the
`
`same way as the previously resolved original petitions. For example, Volkswagen
`
`originally filed the petition in IPR2023-0086 against the ’908 patent, and institution
`
`was denied (as reflected in Defendants’ last status update) on June 16, 2023. Honda
`
`and Ford had each filed duplicative proceedings on the same grounds as
`
`Volkswagen. Correspondingly, institution was denied in Ford’s duplicative
`
`proceeding (IPR2023-00765) on October 2, 2023, and in Honda’s duplicative
`
`proceeding (IPR2023-00793) on October 10, 2023.
`
`To provide a more organized view of the status of the various petitions, below
`
`is a summary of the IPR proceedings filed by Defendants that groups the petitions
`
`by patent, and includes duplicative petitions in the same row as the original petition
`
`(since the duplicative petitions have been or will be decided the same way as the
`
`original petition). In the chart, the instituted proceedings (with their duplicative
`
`proceedings) are shaded green, the denied petitions (and their duplicative
`
`proceedings) are shaded peach, and the unique IPRs awaiting a decision (as well as
`
`their duplicative proceedings) are shaded yellow.
