`THE RECORD ON APPEAL

`The United States of America, by ZACHARY T. FARDON, United States Attorney for

`the Northern District of Illinois, hereby moves to supplement the record on appeal, and states as
`
`follows:
`
`1.

`Defendant Michael Coscia has appealed his convictions and sentence imposed by
`
`this court on July 15, 2016.
`
`2.
`
`Under Rule 10(a) of the Federal Rules of Appellate Procedure, “[t]he original
`
`papers and exhibits filed in the district court; . . . the transcript of proceedings, if any; and . . . a
`
`certified copy of the docket entries prepared by the district clerk” constitute the record on appeal.
`
`3.
`
`After filing his notice of appeal, defendant filed copies of both parties’ trial exhibits
`
`on the docket in the district court (but did not move to supplement the record). R. 175, 177. All
`
`but one of those exhibits appear to be the exhibits admitted at trial. The exhibit purporting to be
`
`Government Exhibit ICE Summary Chart 6, filed by defense as R. 177-35, is not the correct
`

`Because the correct Government Exhibit ICE Summary Chart 6 is not currently in
`
`the record on appeal, the United States wishes to supplement the record so that the exhibit is
`
`available for review by the court of appeals. A copy of the government’s proposed cover sheet to
`
`accompany the exhibit when submitted to the Clerk’s Office is attached to this motion.
`
`WHEREFORE, the United States respectfully requests that the court issue an order
`
`directing the clerk to supplement the record on appeal with Government Exhibit ICE Summary
`
`Chart 6.
`
