`on my personal knowledge.

`Defendants and Plaintiffs have had discussions over the last several

`months to license the patents at issue in this case to the Plaintiffs.
`
`I have been the

`primary contact person on behalf of Defendants during these discussions.

`I have reviewed Plaintiff’s Motion for a Second Extension of Time for

`Defendants to Respond to the Complaint. SIPCO and IPCO do not oppose that
`
`motion.
`

`In the negotiations, Plaintiffs and Defendants have made substantive
`
`progress toward an agreement that would settle this litigation. However, material
`
`issues remain to be resolved between the parties. An extension will provide the
`
`parties more time to negotiate a license and settlement of this litigation.
`
`Defendants will diligently pursue reaching an agreement that will settle the present
`
`action.
`
