`Re: Mada Phcrrmaceuricals Inc. and Cipla Ltd. v. Aporex Inc. and Apotex Corp,
`CA. No. 14-1453-LPS
`
`Dear Chiefludge Stark:
`
`I am writing on behalf of Defendants in response to Plaintiffs‘ May 19, 2015 letter
`and the April 13, 2015 Scheduling Order entered by the Court (D.I. 18).
`
`Defendants do not oppose an earlier trial date, and Defendants would welcome the
`Court’s guidance on whether an earlier trial date might be feasible. If earlier trial date(s)
`are feasible for the Court, Defendants suggest that the parties confer regarding those dates
`to determine: 1) whether the date(s) are feasible for the parties (so as not to create conflicts
`with already existing trial schedules in other cases); and, if so, 2) a sensible and mutually
`agreeable pretrial schedule (to allow sufficient time for discovery).
`
`Defendants disagree with the portion of Plaintiffs letter that purports to summarize
`what Defendants “declined” during discussions between the parties. The details of
`Plaintiffs’ proposal to Defendants went well beyond a simple inquiry to the Court
`regarding the possibility of an earlier trial date.
`
`In any event, we respectfully thank the Court for its consideration of this matter.
`
`Respectfully,
`
`/.s‘/ David E. Moore (#3983)
