`Pursuant to paragraph 4 of the Order Re: Trial (Dkt. No. 398), July 16, 2018
`
`is the deadline for the Apple Inc. (“Apple”) and Wi-LAN, Inc. (“Wi-LAN”)
`
`(collectively, the “Parties”) to submit to the Court a proposed joint set of jury
`
`instructions along with any objections and supplemental instructions to which the
`
`Parties have not agreed. Pursuant to Local Civil Rule 7.2, the Parties jointly
`
`request permission for a one (1) day extension to July 17, 2018 of the deadlines in
`
`paragraph 4 of the Order Re: Trial (Dkt. No. 398).
`
`Good cause exists to permit this one day extension of the deadline to submit
`
`a proposed joint set of jury instructions along with any objections and supplemental
`

`instructions to which the Parties have not agreed. The Parties have been engaged in
`
`11
`
`meet and confers, pursuant to paragraph 4(a) of the Order Re: Trial, in order to
`
`12
`
`reduce the number of disputed instructions and accompanying written objections.
`

`The additional day will allow the Parties to continue to engage in this process and
`
`14
`
`further reduce the number of disputed instructions and accompanying written
`
`15
`
`objections for submission to this Court.
`

`
`The Parties agree that extending the deadline for submission of a proposed
`
`17
`
`joint set of jury instructions along with any objections and supplemental
`
`18
`
`instructions to which the Parties have not agreed will not affect the trial setting or
`
`19
`
`any other deadline in this case. A proposed order is attached hereto.
