`Pursuant to Civil Local Rule 7-3(d)(2), Defendant Demaray LLC (“Demaray”) hereby
`submits this Statement of Recent Decision and the attached copies as relevant to the issues raised
`in Applied Materials, Inc.’s Motion for Preliminary Injunction (Dkt. No. 14) in advance of the
`
`November 12 hearing on the motion.
`On October 15, 2020, the parties in the Texas cases submitted a Joint Case Readiness
`Status Report. See, e.g., Demaray LLC v. Samsung Elecs. Co., Case No. 6:20-cv-00636, ECF 24
`(W.D. Tex. Oct. 15, 2020) (attached). The status report described a dispute between the parties
`regarding a request by the Texas defendants to “stay [the] case indefinitely in light of a third filed
`litigation brought by a third-party (Applied Materials) in California.”
`On October 27, 2020, the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas
`determined that the Texas cases should proceed and entered a scheduling order setting a joint
`Markman hearing on March 26, 2021, and a trial date of December 27, 2021. See Demaray LLC v.
`Samsung Elecs. Co., Case No. 6:20-cv-00636, ECF 33 (W.D. Tex. Oct. 27, 2020) (attached).
