`
`Summary
`Over the years I have handled many trade secret misappropriation
`matters for both plaintiffs and defendants. During the past three and
`a half years I defended a long-time client against a frivolous claim of
`trade secret misappropriation, breach of contract, fraud and related
`claims. After 9 days of arbitration over 14 months we won and my
`client was vindicated. The Plaintiff appealed and my client Cross
`Appealed to correct the judgment. On March 24, 2014 the Court
`of Appeal affirmed the judgment in our client's favor and remanded
`the matter, consistent with our Cross Appeal, to have a corrected
`judgment entered.
`
`Recently I handled a very complicated litigation matter concerning
`a claim by a third party to a portion of millions of dollars of profits
`distributed to various partners from the sale of certain real property.
`There were claims of fraud, fraud in the inducement, fraudulent
`concealment, interference with contract, RICO violations and other
`claims all pending in the United States District Court - Central
`District. After substantial litigation, both prior to the time our
`firm became involved in this matter and thereafter, voluminous
`discovery having been conducted, and over 100 thousand of pages
`of documents exchanged, the Court granted the Defendants motion
`for summary judgment in its entirety and against the Plaintiff on all
`claims. Needless to say my clients are very happy with the results.
`
`I recently resolved a partnership dispute with a client on a very
`favorable basis short of litigation. My client was very happy with the
`results and is in the process of starting his own business. We are
`looking forward to his new venture in the food business and can't
`wait for his products to hit the shelves.

`I started working with Gary Zimmerman and Ronald Rosenfeld as an associate
`and quickly became a partner at the firm. After changing the firm name to
`Zimmerman, Rosenfeld & Gersh we later brought on Craig Leeds and the firm
`became known as Zimmerman, Rosenfeld, Gersh and Leeds. They are great
`lawyers and great friends. And we remain the best of friends today.
