`
`Pursuant to Civil Local Rule 7-3(d)(2), Plaintiff PersonalWeb Technologies, LLC
`(“PersonalWeb”) respectfully submits this Statement of Recent Decision to bring to the Court’s
`attention the Northern District of California’s recent decision in PersonalWeb Technologies, LLC v.
`EMC Corporation, 5:13-cv-01358-EJD, 2020 WL 3639676 (N.D. Cal. July 7, 2020), a true and
`correct copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A. The decision was published after
`PersonalWeb filed its Opposition to Amazon.com, Inc., Amazon Web Services, Inc., and Twitch
`Interactive, Inc.’s (collectively, “Defendants”) Motion for Attorney fees and Costs (see Dkt. 608).
`The decision is therefore appropriate for consideration by the Court. See Civil L.R. 7-3(d)(2)
`(“Before the noticed hearing date, counsel may bring to the Court’s attention a relevant judicial
`opinion published after the date the opposition or reply was filed by filing and serving a Statement
`of Recent Decision, containing a citation to and providing a copy of the new opinion—without
`argument.”).
`Defendants’ Motion for Attorney Fees and Costs is scheduled for hearing on August 6, 2020.
`
`Respectfully submitted,
`July 24, 2020
