`

`
`Case No. 23-cv-03624-BLF
`
`
`ORDER DENYING ADMINISTRATIVE
`MOTION TO SEAL
`
`[Re: ECF No. 41]
`
`Defendants.

`
`
`
`
`
`On November 13, 2023, Plaintiff Google LLC (“Google”) filed a redacted Amended
`
`Complaint for Declaratory Judgment. ECF No. 42 (“Amended Complaint”). That same day,
`
`Google filed an Administrative Motion to Consider Whether Another Party's Material Should Be
`
`Sealed Re: Google's Amended Complaint. ECF No. 41 (“Administrative Motion”). The
`
`Administrative Motion concerns “information” in the Amended Complaint “that Defendants
`
`potentially view as confidential and may therefore wish to seal.” Id. at 1.
`
`“For any document a party (‘Filing Party’) seeks to seal because that document has been
`
`designated as confidential by another party or non-party (the ‘Designating Party’), the Filing Party
`
`must, instead of filing an Administrative Motion to File Under Seal, file an Administrative Motion
`
`to Consider Whether Another Party’s Material Should Be Sealed.” Civil L. R. 79-5(f). “Within 7

`described in subsection (c)(1).” Civil L. R. 79-5(f)(3). “A failure to file a statement or declaration
`
`may result in the unsealing of the provisionally sealed document without further notice to the
`
`Designating Party.” Id.
`
`Google (the Filing Party) filed the Administrative Motion on November 13, 2023. ECF

`keeping the Amended Complaint under seal. The Court therefore DENIES Google’s
`
`Administrative Motion (ECF No. 41) WITHOUT PREJUDICE. Defendants may submit a
