` Electronic Frontier Foundation filed a combined peti-
`tion for panel rehearing and rehearing en banc. Intellectual
`Property Law Professors requested leave to file a brief as
`amicus curiae which the court granted.3 A response to the
`petition was invited by the court and filed by Uniloc USA,
`Inc, Uniloc Luxembourg S.A., and Apple Inc. The petition
`was referred to the panel that heard the appeal, and there-
`after the petition for rehearing en banc was referred to the
`circuit judges who are in regular active service.
