`Re:
`
`Finjan, Inc. v. Juniper Networks, Inc.,
`Case No. 3:17-cv-05659-WHA (N.D. Cal.)
`
`
`Dear Judge Alsup:
`
`Juniper Networks, Inc. (“Juniper”) submits this letter in response to Finjan, Inc.’s (“Finjan”)
`request (Dkt. No. 476) to move the trial date one to four weeks earlier than the October 21, 2019 start
`date currently scheduled. Juniper opposes this request. Finjan did not confer with Juniper before
`suggesting this change and, had it done so, it would have learned that that this date does not work for
`Juniper, as lead counsel is expected to be out-of-state for most of September. Juniper thus respectfully
`requests that the Court either maintain the current trial schedule or order the parties to meet and confer
`to find a mutually agreeable trial date.
`
`
`
`Respectfully submitted,
`
` /s/ Jonathan S. Kagan
