1/24/2022 MINUTES OF MOTION to Compel Discovery 335 held before Judge Otis D. Wright, II as to Ronald Arthur Carlish (4), Howard Keith Elkin (5), Wolfgang Scheele (6), Nagesh Shetty (7) 335 . Case called, zoom appearances made. The Court having carefully considered the papers and having heard the oral argument of counsel. Parties are instructed to spend the next two weeks negotiating a reasonable resolution of the current discovery dispute. There is a further problem of documents having been produced with no Bates numbers, and privilege logs of documents, also with no Bates numbers. Some defendants anticipate filing a motion regarding irregularities in the execution of the search warrants, and suggest delaying ruling on the pending discovery motion until such time as thesearch warrant irregularities have been briefed and resolved. The Court is considering bringing a magistrate judge into the case to streamline some of the discovery issues. There is also pending the issue of GCC Imaging, which is now a defunct corporation, and the holder of the attorney client privilege.
