`
`To the Honorable Board,
`Patent Owner seeks a 30‐day extension, from April 17 to May 18, for its Preliminary Response, in accordance with the
`USPTO guidance in view of the CARES Act.  Patent Owner’s preparation of its Preliminary Response has been materially
`interfered with by the COVID‐19 outbreak.  We understand from the USPTO FAQs regarding the CARES Act (posted here)
`that authorization by the Board is not necessary for this 30‐day extension.  In an abundance of caution, however, we
`wish to inform the Board of Patent Owner’s intent to rely upon the 30‐day extension to file its Preliminary Response by
`May 18, 2020.  Petitioner does not oppose this extension.
`
`Please let us know if the Board has any concerns or if this extension is not available for Patent Owner’s Preliminary
`Response.
`
`Best Regards,
`Trenton Ward
